Not at all. The sound gives your mind something to settle into naturally, no technique or prior experience required.
Most people benefit greatly from sound bathing. If you have a pacemaker, sound-sensitive epilepsy, or are in your first trimester of pregnancy, please get in touch before booking.
Comfortable, warm clothing and thick socks are recommended, as your body temperature can drop during deep relaxation.
The name comes from the idea that sound waves wash over and surround you, holding you in a comfortable, relaxed state, much like being immersed in water.
Sessions typically last between 30 and 90 minutes. Both group and 1-1 sessions are available.
Whether you are managing stress, struggling to sleep, or simply overdue some time for yourself, a sound bath offers a natural, accessible way to reset. Sessions are held at Mel's Healing Sanctuary in Chichester and are suitable for complete beginners.
