Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a final rite of passage is a sensitive time. Below are common questions regarding how I work with families to create a meaningful and spiritual farewell.
- Can you support the family after the passing?
-
Yes. After the rites are performed, I often stay to provide immediate spiritual comfort and grounding for the family members present, helping to hold a calm and sacred space during the initial moments of loss.
- How quickly can you attend a bedside?
-
I understand that end-of-life situations can change rapidly. I prioritise these requests and aim to be available as quickly as possible for home, hospital, or hospice visits across Chichester and the surrounding areas.
- Is it too late if the person is no longer conscious?
-
Not at all. From a spiritual perspective, the soul is very much aware of the energy and prayers in the room. Last rites are just as much about providing a peaceful environment for the transition as they are about the spoken words.
Do you need immediate support?
I prioritise Last Rites requests and offer urgent home or hospital visits across Chichester, Bognor, and Selsey. I am here to provide a calm, spiritual presence during this difficult time.
