Absolutely. These ceremonies are "spiritual but not religious." I focus on the essence of the person, their journey, and the universal light, tailored entirely to what feels right for the family.
- Can we include specific music or poems that aren't spiritual?

Absolutely. The service should be a true reflection of the life lived. I can weave together spiritual prayers with their favourite music, secular poems, and personal tributes from family and friends.
- How long does it take to plan the ceremony?

Usually, I meet with you for an hour or two (in person or via video call) a few days before the service. This gives me enough time to discuss the life story and ensure every detail of the ceremony feels right for you.
- Can we hold the service somewhere other than a crematorium?

Yes. Since I am an independent minister, I can hold a Celebration of Life in various locations, such as a community hall, or even a place that was special to your loved one, before or after the private committal.
